The Tenancy Agreement
The Tenancy Agreement is a legal contract. It sets out the terms and conditions of your tenancy and your rights and responsibilities. Both you as the tenant and Almond Housing Association as your landlord must do what the agreement says.
If you do not keep to the agreement...
If you do not keep to the Tenancy Agreement, we will get in touch to tell you what is going wrong and give you the chance to get it right.
If the problem continues, we can start a legal process in the Sheriff Court which may end up with you losing your home and having to pay our legal and other costs.
If we do not keep to the agreement...
If we do not keep to the Tenancy Agreement, you have the right to complain. If we do not ‘get it right’ after a reasonable time, you can complain to the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman.
