Computer Course at West Lothian College

Almond have been working in partnership with West Lothian College for over a year now to offer Computer and Online Basics Courses for tenants who would like to learn about using computers and getting onto the internet. We are now pleased to offer an intermediate course for those who have been on the beginners course OR have basic computer knowledge and would like to learn more.

The That’s IT course is delivered in 2 hour sessions over 20 weeks and provides essential skills in:

• Social media
• Internet safety when browsing and shopping online
• Emails
• Managing files and folders
• Creating calendars, posters and adverts
• Digital photographs
• Using Microsoft applications

The course costs £100 but we can help you to apply for an ILA payment which will cover the full cost of this for you. Thursday 10 November a college tutor will be available at our offices to help people apply for the ILA.
